Curiosity never killed anything other than a few hours...

So i'm sitting on my couch waiting for melissa, and i heard a knock on the door. well, not so much a knock, more of a scratch. So i looked through the peephole, but I didn't see anything. So a few minutes later i hear an actual knock, and melissa just kind of rambling and making weird noises outside. So im thinking its just melissa being melissa, and i open the door. She's starts screaming and says "kathleen look!"

>_> now i've seen a lot of strange things in my day, and most reptiles do not disturb me at all, seeing as we live in florida and they're everywhere. but never in my life have i seen something so gross, ridiculous, and disturbing at the same time. There, on my front door, was a ginormous frog. the size of my hand. now thats not the strange part....even though i havent seen a frog that big in years, ut i digress....in the frogs mouth, head first, trying to wriggle away, was a snake. :|

Thats right. An abnormally large frog, which was in the process of eating a snake, was on my door. :| naturally i freaked out and shut the door, but in my haste i shut a piece of the snake in as well :/ ewwwww

so as we left, the frog was attempting to pull the snake out of my door crack, because apparently, he was hungry :(

fast forward a few hours, and im back. now i half expected to still see this frog trying to get the snake, or least have gotten the half that was sticking out of my door. but no. the frog had given up, and still in my door was the snake:

it wasnt moving at all, but i didnt dare open the door b/c i had a feeling it wasnt dead. melissa threw some mulch at it, but it still didnt move. so i slowly unlocke the door and opened it a little, and of course the damn thing started squirming >.< i shut the door really quick, and though about my dilemma. we made several attempts at opening and closing the door, hoping to sever the damn things tail so it would fall and sliver away, but instead we watched as the snake kept trying to get inside! D: i couldnt let it get inside, my mother has a snake phobia and she would kill me. not to mention i wouldnt be able to sleep with that thing in the house >.<

So naturally we decided to light him up. lol, jk.

>_> but seriously. melissa got her lighter, and we lit up some paper, and tried to coax him out of the doorway. she eventually got him out, and threw him on the floor, a little to close to my foot i might add, and he slithered up the drain pipe.

So by shutting the snake in the door, we saved its life! the frog had no choice but to spit him out.

the ginormous frog unfortunately, wanted for attempted murder, is still at large.

that is all.
